What did you find?
Plant, herb and tree photos are analysed by PlantScope's built-in AI vision (Pl@ntNet is used instead once registered). Results are unverified suggestions. GBIF/iNaturalist manual name lookup does not analyse uploaded photos.

Run “Check photo service status” after setup, then test a real photo for the plant service. A configuration or health check is not proof that a photograph was recognized. Keys stay on the server and are never shown here.
Without keys, GBIF name search and iNaturalist supporting references remain available. They do not inspect uploaded photographs or establish edibility.
No photo-service key needed. Names and references only — your uploaded photos are not analysed.
Rounded to ~10 km. Never required.
Plant photos are analysed by PlantScope's built-in AI vision (or Pl@ntNet once registered). Location and notes are not sent. Results are visual suggestions only, never an edibility decision.
No photo analysis has been performed. Search a name for scientific references, or submit photos to a configured service for unconfirmed suggestions.
